Next weekend’s Stargate: Atlantis guest stars Bill Nye the Science Guy, as well as my favorite astrophysicist, Neil deGrasse Tyson!

Oh, yeah, it also has Dave Foley (of Kids in the Hall and News Radio), but who cares about that?

Is it over? Please say it’s over

I’m about ready to check out on this one, but I did at least vote first. One of my cow-orkers mentioned that somewhere (maybe Canada?) they have a rule that campaigning is limited to the six weeks before the election. I would love to have that rule here. Having a nearly two-year long campaign was quite a spectacle, but I’d much rather have my politicians breaking stuff during their term instead of blowing their money on advertisements.

Also, I’ve just about decided that my method of finding out the election results will be to get on the train tomorrow morning and look over someone’s shoulder to see what their newspaper says. (I may cave in and turn on the TV, though.)
