The point of this tool is to help you audit your recipes. Put the pairs of ingredients in at the top. Hit submit, and it will return a list of all the pairings of ingredients with their distances. Intended pairs are highlighted in green and unintended pairs are highlighted in yellow.

If your recipe is expected to work properly, the top few pairs will all be green.

If you have any yellow pairs appearing higher than any of your green pairs, it means that an additive is actually closer to another pair's base than to its own, which may reduce the effectiveness of the recipe.

Some of these conclusions are based on supposition. If you have better info on how ingredient pairs clash with each other, please let me know in-game.
